The start-up is laborious: it goes in all directions, all places, all times, without movement ... But after about 120 pages (on 660) that's it, everything falls into place and the reader is taken in the plot. He follows step by step in their mutual quests the murderer of a hand, the policeman and his funny team on the other.
There is the psychological study of the characters (the rather incredible profiles), crazy chases, the little annoyances of everyday police officers and their delusions, etc ... all in a context well described, and of course the plot: a psychopath who attacks the cult members. In short all the ingredients of a good thriller are present.
I did not know the author, nor therefore the famous trio of V department, but I enjoyed the meeting with the Danish team, they just cut profiles knife.
Eventually involved a brief reading to have a good time at the fireplace in the winter!
