Tibetan Buddhism is not a simple thing, there has texts so thick that a newcomer does not understand anything, so all the credit for this work to present clearly this complex tradition. A presentation that is not, however simplistic. Kalu Rinpoche is one of the founders of the Tibetan Buddhist masters in the West, he knows how to reach the Western approach to the Buddha's teaching that can talk to him despite a cultural context so different from ours. I recommend reading this book.
