The Eye of the World (Paperback)

Customer Review

Here is the first volume of WoT. Robert Jordan proves his immense talent.
However, the book is quite long and we get lost in weariness in a chase between the hero and dark creatures strangely reminiscent of the Nazgul (or ringwraight) Tolkien.
But after this slight disadvantage, we witness a work written by a master hand. The prologue is perfect, excellent end, engaging and beautifully designed characters. women have great depth and great political power what is stated in the following volumes.
Robert Jordan shows us that WoT is not a pale copy of Lord of the Rings, and here we are relieved.
Anyway, we are witnessing an epic quest that is still in its beginning.
