If I love the stories of dragons, I was pretty skeptical about this story drakis. I was a little afraid it was this grotesque story of characters with human appearance can turn into dragons. I was not convinced, so I would go with prejudices especially as the reviews on the web are quite mixed regarding this novel. Again, my view diverges because I loved it! I must admit, the first page made me a little scared. I found this strange story and it was hard to represent me what could be a draki, but soon I let myself coax and I plunged heart and soul into this fascinating world and pretty new to me. If the scheme remains fairly standard compared to other paranormal romances young adult, I found that there were good ideas and I am attached to the characters. I have taken the bait and I have not seen through the pages. I have a small side blue flower, beautiful and impossible love stories easily give me butterflies in my stomach and it was the case here. img 0-550 smile pink love I also loved the complex relationship of twin sisters. While Jacinda lives as torture does being far from home and not be able to come forward and fly like another drakis, Tamra, who never became a draki, can finally live his life. It finally feels out of place, loved and noticed by others while in the clan she had the impression of not existing. To be happy, Jacinda needs to be a draki while his mother and sister are desperate to kill his power so that they can lead a normal life all three. The situation is far from simple ... Especially that in addition to this, Jacinda does not control his power and when threatened, her skin glows and its wings trying to get out. Not easy when one is obliged to go to school with drakis Hunters and virulent plagues.
It took me only a few sentences to get into the story, and I have not found any painful or boring way. The writing of the author is fluid and enjoyable which is ideal for a young adult novel. I really enjoyed myself with this reading. I tried to imagine myself in the place of Jacinda in this complex and impossible situation. I wondered many times if I would have made the same choice it. I was afraid for drakis, afraid for her and I in turn was angry, amused and worried. I love when a book gives me that kind of feel. I like to let me succeed embark on an improbable story without difficulty and that was the case here. This first volume is not perfect, it lacks a little something to make it a favorite, but it's a promising start. There are a lot of potential in this story. The output of the further adventures of Jacinda is 2012.
