Claire Bauchart, the author of the book, did an excellent job. It tells the story of Lilou Farnot, ex-prostitute married three times to rogue (a real character!). A punch book, which does not leave indifferent, without voyeurism and tearful. For Claire tells Bauchart banter with Lilou, his loves, his disappointments, his suffering. The writing is fluid, punctuated by strong dialogues, words are just. Not a minute to get bored: one is easily captivated by this story, and attaches quickly to Lilou, even if one does not necessarily endorse these life choices. Gradually, as we were turning the pages, one imagines whistling a "medal it" (that's **** c) or for alarm: "Blowin the Condés!" we see her go for the umpteenth time in the visiting room of the prison in Draguignan, the "balloon" as she says. Beyond the biography, Claire Bauchart depicted with almost documentary accuracy, yet unpretentious, clandestine life, his galleys and injustices, on forced prostitution and prison. When is the film? I recommend warmly.
