My girlfriend and I wanted to set us the game for the release of the PS4. But due to the bad reviews, we decided for a different game. But since we wanted to know is whether the criticisms rightly so badly failed or not, we have the game unceremoniously borrowed us from the video store.

The good news first: the game is really not as bad as the press that wants to remind us. The graphics are really pretty. The textures are sharp. And the effects are convincing. Self control goes from liquid hand.

And now the bad news that can not be present at a top title the game in my eyes: The story is really an underground operation. After half an hour we already know where the goblins have their tanks. Well, so I could make friends yet. But the results system gives me some puzzles. Sometimes Knack tolerate three or more punches and sometimes reaches an out to the main character in a thousand artifacts to shatter. Perhaps Knack has indeed different target areas? I do not know, but it turns out to gamble whether the trodden area now creates or not.

Then there is the monotony of the game. Man skin actually only constantly. Small Hüpfpassagen. From time to time switch press. Collect crystals. Energy collect. Collect items. No mystery. No nothing. And that runs through the entire game. A little variety would really do the game good. Knack is represented in the game as a versatile nature, only the programmers are not really discussed it. It would have been nice that if Knack accommodates ice crystals, which also what could do - nothing there! Too bad. A level up the character would have been interesting. But perhaps these are all ideas for Knack 2 ...

Then there would be the with the dying and the reset to the checkpoint. Even though there are only a few minutes you have to make up, so these are on the whole game distributed wirlich very many minutes.

And now I come to the 2-player mode: this is a kind of pseudo-2-player mode. Player 2 can hew as Knack and thrash opponents, but the attacks remain deprived of right Knack. The only positive is that player 2 can give life energy by pressing the triangle button clicks. In many heated battles on many occasions Knacks neck was rescued by the second player. Because applies here: Knack dies, then it starts with the checkpoint, no matter if player 2 is still alive. Therefore, the strategy of my girlfriend and me was: I (2 players) am vorgerannt and have Kamikaze sent moderately as many enemies as possible to the nirvana. This strategy worked splendidly.

At the end I can say that I'm glad we did not buy the game. Knack is not a complete failure, but also no highlight. A borrow from the video store just fine, since the replayability is ours from scratch. Hope in Knack 2, unless there will be a second part, we will address the criticisms, because potential is definitely there.
