A reprint expected

After a few months of waiting (FAITH had to get out end of September 2010), here the fabulous long awaited reissue of this album. I chronicle here the cabinet 2 CD + DVD 30 euros.
Packaging is quality: a slightly granulated black box with gold lettering GEORGE MICHAEL "Faith". Ditto for the reverse side with the 5 symbols. Opening the side pulled out a book-disk including a 40-page booklet (slightly glossy) with lots of color photos and black and white fop. Contains George interview. Unfortunately as usual in this kind of project everything is in English. Another regret no retranscritpion the texts of the album (unlike the old edition) and very little educational information about the album. No information on the provenance of each voucher to the bonus CD. This is unfortunate. A track by track would have been wise. On the other hand the record company did not find useful to include the titles of the discs on the CD-book. It was just right to an insert with information + insert which is glued on the black box. If you lose the paper you do not have titles.
CD 1 includes the remastered album FAITH (9 publishing titles 33 laps) + A last request (I want your sex part 3) available in the previous edition bonus CD. Lack bonus Hard day (shep petitbone remix) 6'29. I can not tell you about the remastering is worth seeing, I do not have a great stereo. So I refrain.

CD 2 contains 9 tracks from the singles released. 2 instrumental versions (including that of Faith for the first time available in CD version). 2 times live Stevie Wonder Same listed on side B of Father figure and a pictur disc version of Faith. 3 remixes of Monkey (including 1 unreleased me the Air Jam & Lewis remix, but I'm not sure) + FANTASY (which was included in the B side on the single FREEDOM released in 1991) and the version of 9 minutes Hard day (shep petitbone MIX).
It lacks for completists: the instrumental version of Father Figure Available on versions Max 45s and (very rare) maxi CD. And why the record company did not deliver the superb full version of I want your sex (monogamy mix) (with 3 parts linked together) over 13 minutes left in 45s maxi and maxi version CD in 1987? There was plenty of room on the second CD. 9 titles it makes little. There's no real news: no demo, no studio drop a rehash. This is unfortunate.

The DVD is good enough bill: very good English issue of 1987 with taboo-free interview with humor. A vintage EPK on Faith tour. And clips of 6 singles (+ the censored version of I want your sex).

In short, the object is classy, ​​albeit a bit expensive (30 euros is very expensive). If the DVD packaging e do not interest you, you fold on version 2 CD jewel case in the 17-18 euros.
For the deluxe version to 126 euros, I think this is the scam of record companies time: offering luxurious items at exorbitant said handing us a booklet, a 33 towers and some posters, tickets replicas and other objects But nothing more to see or hear. Avoid except for collectors of George.
