A rush job, which implies the right direction again

The self-titled new album certainly has the trademarks of the albums of Operation Mindcrime (1988) to Promised Land (1994), without being able to actually achieve their class. It lacks the songs mostly on ingenious melodies and catchy choruses, although the material again comes considerably more rock and metal than the more alternative and modern metal sounding last albums. With Todd La Torre has fortunately found an absolutely competent solution to the singer-Posten, which a very similar singing voice how Geoff Tate, and therefore the old songs can be adequately implemented - anything does indeed in my view makes no sense, because you yes with other singers and voice could tip the old material in the quasi ton. Obviously the band in the last 15 years has been guided by Geoff Tate and this was before the musical direction, which is why it indeed desöfteren was friction. It's a great feature that it unsettled currently are judicially 2 bands named Queensryche. And since to look both bands as the only true Queensryche, quasi a race has taken place over time in order to be the as soon as possible first to bring an album on the market - because that one has only once the entire attention his side.
