The media like to make us spend the judiciary as an environment totally honest and selfless as only the application of the premium law. Of course, few people still believe in such clichés (Laffaire Outreau showed us otherwise). The author who is obviously well aware of the hexagonal judicial procedure describes a criminal case occurring in the east of France after the murder of the wife of a notable. The author does not hesitate to criticize careerism and bias of judges and prosecutors, which makes reading the book quite enjoyable. I only regret that the characters are in general fairly lanterns and the plot is relatively commonplace.
