A sort of crossover music impressed the Irish!

It's very impressive what the five Irish musicians of the band "Beoga" have brought here to routes and as producer Günter Pauler has managed to preserve the incredibly vivid live sound on this SACD.
With two button accordions, traditional Irish frame drum bodhrán, guitar and keyboard and piano talented musicians go to work. Not to mention the great violin and the beautiful voice of singer Niamh Dunne make the sympathetic quintet "Beoga" from only.
They play Irish Folk music between modernity and tradition, with quite unusual, but worth listening to adaptations of jazz and world music. A kind of Irish crossover music that lasting impression and of course in Soundqualtität and sound transparency, as always with stockfish, nothing to be desired leaves much.
A successful production that makes me very curious about the real live experience "Beoga"!
