Music of the Moon

Rihanna's fourth album Rated R is a dark concept album about tragic love affairs. It is not a repetition of the previous album Good Girl Gone Bad, but a successful evolution of Robyn Rihanna Fenty as an artist. Not only vocally a lot more convincing than her cheerful debut Music of the sun. In 9 of the 13 songs Rihanna has co-written, co-produced the album also has them. In noble booklet she calls her film. Just the very aesthetic pictures, among others, Ellen von Unwerth, answer the question why one should choose not to download and to buy the album! The lyrics were, unfortunately, like, not printed even when GGGB.
The tragically most famous photo of Rihanna, from the last few months, is missing in the booklet. These are but just this police photo of Rihanna with serious injuries and their causes, Chris Brown, the Rated R may have inspired. In an interview Rihanna regretted despite abuses to be repeatedly returned to Brown and thus to have been a bad example for their very young fans. Quite consistently the album with many Reizwäsche- and Cigarette photos is not straight, but artistic layout has succeeded.

Mad House is a weak start, Fairground ghost train.
Wait Your Turn with its powerful beat and hypnotic text would have served as an entry completely.
Hard feat. Jeezy is actually hard, hard to endure namely.
Stupid in love reminds Unfaithful, vocally better but weaker on the whole.
Rockstar 101 feat. Slash. Is that really the Slash of Guns n 'Roses? Does not sound like that. How sublime contrast, his song with Michael Jackson's Give in to me! A lame duck and biggest disappointment of the album.
Russian Roulette, the first single, has mediated in advance a good impression of the album.
Fire Bomb Rihanna convinced with a deep voice and has the guitar riff that would have been expected from the slash-song. Or maybe not, because it is not as strong.
Rude Boy would sound after Russian-disco, if she did not sing in English.
Photographs feat. Will.I.am sounds completely to the Black Eyed Peas and Fergie Although including (but is actually Rihanna), one of the best songs on the album!
G4L is a song about sweet revenge, Rihanna may use dirty words and is accompanied by a Fiepston as in the ICU. Gangster For Life? Well.
Te amo is simply beautiful!
Cold case love, co-written by Justin Timberlake, begins sacral, Streicher and everything - the best song on the album!
The last song is a far less successful conclusion Song as Good Girl Gone Bad. But at least with electric guitar (Slash, is that you? ;-))

No umbrella, no sunshine and dancefloor. Consistent and coherent for a dark album! Better each time listening.
The wait is ova? There were virtually no break since 2007 of Rihanna in the charts. Especially friends of Disturbia be able to start with a lot of Rated R. What The Fame by Lady Gaga in 2009 was Rated R is for 2010!
