The songs vary from club numbers and spherical experiments, but never leave the realms of catchy pop and show once again the versatility of an often "cultures" hated genre. It is clear that here takes place the innovation and not at the Gaga, Rihanna or Perrys this world who always use well-known pattern and now just need to hang out only on the ears of the listener.
Nevertheless, it takes a little until you get access to the music of Katy B, because at the beginning of the plate acts somewhat bulky, in parts even inconsequential; it is not every song is an absolute grenade, but if you take the time to the album a couple of times at a stretch to hear you will not go again. But songs like "Katy on a Mission", "Witches Brew", "Broken Record", "Go away" or "Lights on" are just too creative, unique and simply great!
Conclusion: Great, creative debut of a newcomer that we should have on their radar immediately.
