This soundtrack is there in a special light in the complete works of Glass. He is very different from Koyaanisqatsi or Mishima. Glass united here in a wonderful way folkloric elements, among others from South America with his typical minimalist style embossed. Outstanding and used in many films is the main theme, which can be heard here in three brilliant variations. This soundtrack I personally like better than Mishima and is certainly more often caused by the stylistic diversity and variety audible as Koyaanisqatsi.
