I would like to not reveal so much about the content of the book. I find it's more about that Gaiman has managed to tell a sometimes quiet, sometimes sad, several chapters even disturbing and then again positive and beautiful plot with wonderful words.
Here like a symphony of the interaction of several instruments is given, find the story combined with the narrative style Gaiman's a masterpiece together, but without ever being verkünstelt or pretentious. It was just a pleasure to absorb this liquid-flowing words and sentences. I read the book in the train on the way to and from work and am unfortunately, gone too far, fortunately on the way home, a station, even though I had to stand, so I lost myself in the book.
Although I have not read the German version, I would put all my heart to read the original, the translator is of no matter how good, something is always lost.
