A super pan, remains flat :)

The pan I have now used a few times to cook, and everything worked fine. Of course, after which she was fired.
Unfortunately, I have to realize that the pan is not true arches, as it happened with my ladle De Buyer same size, but the bottom of the pan was not planned. The floor was a little bent, so that only a very small area, right in the middle, with the hot plate had contact during the rest of the pan about 1mm balanced on the hob.

I have simply taken a Vierkantholz the lying around with me and had then set centrally and with a Feistel (heavy hammer) it added a few strokes. After every 2-3 beats I've tested with an angle if the ground is flat. After about 8 strokes the ground was then thoroughly plan.

Of course, a little annoying because with reasonable final controls so that could be avoided. But no doomsday. Worse, it would have been if the pan would have arched due to heat development.
