I must admit that the last album was an absolute disappointment. Whether it was on the two successful predecessors "Into" and "Dead Letters", everyone can judge for yourself who owns these albums. For my part, I am extremely skeptical approached the new album. Was not the last album "Hide From The Sun" everything carelessly produced in "In The Shadows" style and in my opinion, we see the exact opposite of this album. From the first listen to the CD I was pleasantly surprised by "Black Roses" in the overall package. Hardly a song has failed, apart from "Ten Black Roses" and "Dangerous Child". As a neutral observer of this CD will clearly identify that this album has a mixture of Into and Dead Letters. Recommended are the deep popular songs like "Ghost of Love" and "Justify". But the rest, which has not yet been mentioned by me is to recommend. "The Fight" stands out most here. Begins the song but unusually hard on, it ends in the typical The Rasmus pop-rock sound.
As a conclusion one can clearly say that The Rasmus have evolved and have "In The Shadows" adopted by the style. If they carry on like this, the success is also likely to return to Germany. Bad album is by no means, even if the mainstream the most part considered differently. What is missing this album, is that special something which "Dead Letters" or "Intro" had.
