My review
History
Do you know that feeling that grabs you when you take a book in your hands and you know, without even open washhouse, you'll Laimer? A feeling that is found assured each new page turned, with each new character found at each bounce occurring, then became a certainty: this is the Blow of Heart, the true.
This is what happened with mest "The Secret of the inventor" Dandrea Cremer. This is very simple, i liked everything in this book: a heroine with a strong character, a bit of love, a lot dinventions, pervasive share, a world as mesmerizing queffrayant It is delicious to delve into this strange universe parallel to ours and follow the adventures of its protagonists.
Thus, we have Charlotte: Charlotte is beautiful, strong, sensitive, touching and full of biting, which belongs to the Rebellion. It is, by far, the one that i preferred in this book because it is the same from one end to the other of the novel. She hides nothing, she is honest and it is direct. We discover a young girl of sixteen more accustomed to armed combat quaux balls na afraid that (almost) nothing and nhésite not to rush headlong to meet the challenges to protect those she loves.
During lunar expeditions, she meets a young man, nicknamed quon Grave terribly pale, amnesia and a little clumsy, she'll take him back to the rebel camp. Grave is bizarre and will reveal in the days following his arrival, détranges capabilities and reactions. We quickly sattache this character who does not hide his fears, anxieties and Charlotte sees her only friend in the Resistance.
But in the rebel camp, everyone does not see the arrival of this new of a very good eye, of the dangers that it brings with it. Ash, Charlotte's brother and head of the small community, is one of the most resistant to integration of lamnésique among his people. It must be said Quash has a lot to do: manage between rebellion with impending arrival of his 18th birthday and therefore departure for combat, and a strange boy with amnesia in a hard head, all with his little sister, which itself is a hothead and his best friend, Jack, that hides more than one trick up his sleeve
Dailleurs, talk about Jack. Lai I found funny, touching even my sil at a time, really angry (no, but the cad!), It also represents one who may be able to allow the rebellion denfin take things in hand. Mysterious, seductive, he charmed me. Jai loved his relationship with Charlotte, where mockery and the attraction mix.
Throughout history, other characters will emerge, but it's really those four who scored Mount and to which I am attached to me throughout the novel. With them, we discover the harsh existence of the Resistance, but the pangs and pleasure of those who live in the Floating City: British elite, who not nhésite to be serfdom ethnic Americans. We dive in this bloody world, scary and full of pretense. The plot keeps us in suspense from one end to the other of the book, as we close with a big cliffhanger that makes unbearable lattente the second volume!
Andrea Cremer managed the feat of creating a parallel universe to ours, perfectly placed, detailed and which, strangely, seems quite likely. The relationships between the various characters, but also the various twists and turns of this first volume make this totally addictive story!
The story: 18/20
Character: 20/20
The writing
The pen Dandrea Cremer is fluid, efficient and fluent his story. We let ourselves go one page to another, over the inventions, fighting and walking silk dress dance. Do not fuss sencombrant and depicting terribly human hero, i loved it!
The writing style: 17/20

Andrea Cremer, through this book, speaks of lesclavage and serfdom, thus offering an open criticism of these two ways of life, through which the company created when a class hierarchy is clearly established. The violence with which the British treat strains of Americans is terribly disgusting and leaves a bitter taste in the mouth: treated as less than nothing, humiliated, and sometimes killed shameless, this may seem crazy and yet it depicts well the company was ours there are no so long ago. Thus, one can not help but see a parallel with the way the Americans treated the African people brought to the United States under lesclavage that prevailed.
Here, the elite (the British) live in the Floating City, while the Americans themselves, are stuck to the ground, living in poverty and violence. Since there is a time, the Black people were relegated to the back of the bus, navait not access some areas of high society, and was the victim dagressions Free, usually unpunished.
