A truly impressive concert from the early stage of Keith Jarrett.
At this period he could still play around with various instruments ... his excursions on the soprano saxophone are quite interesting and worth listening to.
Paul Motian and Charlie Haden are equal partners and provide intense folk and ethno elements, supported by clenched emotions. But even more unusual free-jazz passages are unmistakable. The music rolls over in joy and vitality.
