First they had a worldwide hit with "Independent Woman" from the film "3 Angels for Charly", then another worldwide hit with the title song "Survivor", whose video strongly "Indiana Jones" remembered. Finally, topped even the groovy "Bootylicious" which Michael Jackson was modeled, the US Billboard charts. The 3 Divas were with the album "Survivor" on the highest point of her career for the time being. The album was first produced by Beyoncé's father Matthew; she herself wrote and produced most of the songs. This also includes the 3 hit singles "Survivor," "Bootylicious" and "Independent Woman". That Beyonce can resample skillfully songs, it also proves for the first time in this work: "Bootylicious" contains elements of Stevie Nicks "Edge of Seventeen"; the cheeky "Nasty Girl" contains samples from "Tarzan Boy". In this work, the 3 ladies present matured musically. The album contains a loud R & B songs that have been mixed with a variety of musical styles such as pop, rock and Latin. The best pieces in addition to the 3 mentioned singles "Happy Face", a real summer song, "Fancy" and "Sexy Daddy", "Apple pie la mode" and the Bee Gees Cover "Emotion", which was also released as a single. The ballad "My heart beats quietly," only sung by Beyoncé is very nice fall.
