As my Mitrezensenten have written a lot about this mega zoom 16-300 mm from Tamron, I want to limit myself to my first impressions with this lens. For my Canon EOS 70D and 600D I have not used only original lenses. This I will do in the future. This Zoom Tamron I have, however, made an exception, not least because the 18-200mm Canon only middle class, and is totally overpriced. Although the Tamron 16-300 mm z.Zt. no Billigheimer is, but it offers a whole lot more uses. The zoom is very well made, and also the haptics can in my view nothing to be desired. The setting rings for focal length and distance are very handy, and have no game or other shortcomings. The fact that a zoom lens, in particular this 18.8-fold here, can only ever be a compromise, any user should be clear. With the well-known weaknesses in the wide angle and telephoto range I can live. Who does not want, should make his photographs only with fixed focal lengths. In conclusion, I can only conclude that this mega zoom 16-300 mm Tamron exactly is the right choice for me, not least as "Always top" for a carefree travel photography.
