The story is both fresh and sparkling, like the colors of this gorgeous blanket. Just looking at the book, I already feel (almost) in the summer and it gives me lighter bookish desires and that relax me.
Well OK. My last book was a thriller least very bloody but my reading of Alice made me a world of good. The joy of living this girl is so communicative and is always happy (or so) of what they are offered, Alice is definitely a young heroine who pleases the audience: young girls from 9 years .
Here, Alice is going to tell you how it went his summer holidays at the campsite as well as his trip to his grandmother, Belgium.
This is an opportunity to make this trip with her and to imagine, for example, the Manneken Pis or the Belgian specialties Alice did not know.
In the end, I have shared these moments of complicity with her grandmother, her aunt and cousin-cousin. I also participated in his birthday and an event that really took to heart this girl.
The book is well written and always small illustrations, notes or sketches like very much.
I realize that I lose all objectivity when I talk about this series because I am totally in love with the pen of the author, illustrator and character of Alice that could be any girl 10 years.
Each reading is a real moment of relaxation and pleasure. Each end of the book is a small torture and I have a heavy heart hoping to see the next volume appear quickly.
I love it and I hope that young French readers will be tempted by this little gem that is the Quebec series The Alice newspaper.
