I have already bought me this thermometer / hygrometer for the third time, for additional rooms, but because I want to measure the humidity in this temperature.
After finding the humidity I put there as needed water vessels on order to achieve the ideal humidity of about 40-60%. So I can easily control the indoor climate.
Drüber or underneath it should not be, that would be no more beneficial to health.
