Monday's Ghost (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Sophie Hunger has taken a truly wonderful beautiful album with Monday's Ghost. For example, when, Beauty Above All 'invites sparsely instrumented song Just to dream, The Boat is full' turn is a jaunty pop song and could mutate in a bit more courage of Radio creators in the radio landscape for clandestine radio hit. Then there is the sung waltz for Nobody ', an incredibly detailed under the skin, waltz-ballad' in German, accompanied by piano and glockenspiel. , Birthday 'is a beautifully-relaxed folk number. When, Sophie Hunger Blues' it is then spirited (a, Schrammel guitar 'breaks through) but right after that also follows again one of these incredibly beautiful pop / folk songs (, Round and Round').

Continue with, The Tourist ', a song with strong bass drum track and he rocks in the best Ben Folds tradition. In magic, Teenage Spirit 'there are then a little chant. After so much excitement 'followed but after that, you guessed it, again one of these enchanting ballads (' To a protest song 'is to melt nicely). The title track starts again with a, himmlischenŽ melody but includes at least a slanted center section, which is reminiscent of the Dresden Dolls. The last song of the CD series also seamlessly into the entire drive, there are a few offbeat tones, Drainpipes' controls in a few easy jazzy notes and at the end very relaxed folk is again making music.

The conclusion is that Sophie Hunger has created a very wonderful folk album with a breeze blues and jazz, and I can only hope that there will be a few more such plates from her. If you like the music of Norah Jones or Katie Melua should listen to this disk absolutely. The panel urges the listener though a bit more, but it will actually be rewarded for it musically.
