I just found the first volume of Discworld Annals, it made me both nights, the second volume one evening. Once you have opened the door to the world of Pratchett, a return is not possible. His world record, set on the back of elephants, to put yourself on a giant turtle is a mockery of fun. The trees talk, trolls turn into rocks, a large net (the périfilet to be precise) protects adventurers that could switch over the edge of the disc, each page of the universe this disc comes to us. The story, admittedly a bit incredible, this first volume allows us to learn the customs and the various living species on the disc. Thieves quickly notice this original tourist who paid in gold coins (stored in a wooden box that works alone, which also bites from time to time) and nauront one desire: to kill and loot. The leak and cowardice are the specialties of mage, the two men take to their heels and go discover the disc. Pleasure.
