In this publication, missing 7 titles of the original first CD, on the John Lee Hooker Delta Blues solo was the best: Guitar, Vocal, Footstomping. The remaining 3 title of the first CD and all tracks on the second CD originally was jammed on with Canned Heat, are present.
The highlight of this session is definitely the rd. 11-minute "Boogie Chillen No. 2" with fine guitar work of Henry Vestine and a hellish Harp solo by Alan Wilson, who unfortunately died shortly after the shooting. The remainder of this session Hooker'n Heat are all great and no lengths.
Overall, the album is interesting for both John Lee Hooker and Canned Heat fans, because the co-operation of both of Delta Blues and Boogie just fits. Who wants to like to have it completely, creates the double CD on which then the remaining (very good) seven tracks by John Lee Hooker are heard.
Overall, a classic album of rock and blues of the early 70s!
