Interesting ... I found "Taste The Sin", the last album of Black Tusk "only" well, so can me the re-release of their debut inspire many more. Even then, the line of approach was clear-cut. Dreckigster pigs rock with influences from Sludge and Stoner, but is the material on "Passage Through Purgatory" (originally from 2008) again a corner dingy, cavalier and simply more convincing than in the 2010s over-work. Although there are again no classic hits, but just about every song has its small barbs that inevitably cling to the ear. If you like dirty, authentic and especially rousing like his Rotzrock there is no way to "Passage Through Purgatory". A re-release, which is really useful to me this little gem would in any case but otherwise remained hidden. Horny cover too!
