Installation is fast and straightforward. The GData is amazing resource carefully, you can tell already subjectively, without any measurements. Done right, I am of the autopilot, so far, this "fully automatic" everything properly controlled without any feedback (my second attempt with something, sooner aufpoppende question windows were dear to me, because of bad experiences with the automatic Kaspersky). All in all GData offer here a very user-friendly and perfectly tailored to the layman solution - who are not familiar with the "innards" of a Security Suite (or want to have nothing to do), can sit back and relax. Still exist to those skilled in addition manual intervention, so everything's alright. GData is incidentally a German company, so you can purchase with the same yet support the ailing economy. :)
I can over the long-term reliability of antivirus protection from personal experience to say anything, but when you go to test and experience reports on the net, GData is rightly one of the market leader in the security suites.
From me there 5 stars, the price / performance ratio is really first class.
If during my Nuztzung something new arise, I will complete the review and if necessary adapt the rating.

History, if anyone is interested:
- First I was using Avira AntiVir Personal. Very practical solution: free, simple and fast. Also ran a few years without any problems, unfortunately I caught sometime nevertheless a Trojan one. That may not be a knock-out criterion for a scanner to be (finally, the competition is not 100% perfect), but I was confused, especially the free version eh brought no own firewall.
- Switches to the Kaspersky Security Suite. I had 2.3 years to my PC started rumzuzicken. Unexplained delays to complete trailers. At first I thought (no, it was not) to a virus, then to a hardware problem (no, it was not) and only after a long search, I came to the wrongdoer to the track: Kaspersky. I have still no idea what exactly happened with Kaspersky since (something shot out?) In any case, the computer ran after uninstalling again 1a.
- Trial version of Norton Security 2011 installed. Made an excellent impression. Nice appearance, easy operation, fast. Until I tried to create the Norton Security Boot CD. This filth software has actually managed to, (64bit Win7) to shoot my system partition while she was allegedly busy to create the CD. Windows no longer launched and was beyond repair. Thank You Very Much! Luckily I do regular backups of C: \, otherwise a complete Windows reinstallation would have been queuing. I can about the reliability of Norton scanner does not say anything, but the thing with the CD was an absolute no-go, such a thing should not happen in a reputable manufacturer.
