1.quality
The look and feel, I feel for this price range as well. The housing and the materials of the device act fairly wertig, although the hinges of the screen - according to the price - turn out easier than with more expensive devices. If you look closely, the screen is not one hundred percent parallel to the keyboard - but perhaps only in my copy. (Or because I look skeptical legally accurate ...)
The keyboard itself I find very pleasant, but only different "Gamer Laptops" by ASUS as a comparison. The fact that the keyboard was designed rather flat in this notebook, it happens that one is amazed at how often you "small" writes. The pressure point is well habit - with me it works now but well.
2.Betriebsgeräusch
The operating noise - if you want to call it that - defies description. During the installation of programs, this notebook only gets noticed by the usual drive noise - via DVD course. In addition, I have made my almost worry whether possibly the (perhaps) integrated fans are faulty, otherwise virtually nothing is heard.
Even with the performance test under Win7 fan breathed only briefly and then went back apparently on hold.
3.Leistung / Facilities
Against the figure provides the laptop no integrated webcam. And Bluetooth - as so often asked in this model, there is not. I was pleased, however - because not expect - an HDMI output.
In addition, the device offers a VGA - port, and 3 USB and classical LAN and card reader.
Microphone-and headphones output gear are still in the process, which in addition to the DVD - Double Layer - drive is quite important also because of the integrated speakers actually (!!) a mono - speaker.
The processor itself in conjunction with other components carries out his work absolutely fast and reliable, as far as I can tell so far.
Even after hours, I can not provide any significant heat generation fixed. The matt display is held not a high flyer, but provides a good contrast and vibrant colors. (Although the viewing angle with high-quality laptop is on.)
4.Negatives
Fairly negative the previously called Mono is me - Speaker noticed. Also in this price range I think it is not appropriate - especially not when you consider the sound quality. (As mentioned, but you can connect via headphone socket when needed external speakers.)
The keyboard even need it a "firmer Fingers", otherwise the characters will not be displayed as desired.
64MB video memory are already more than enough. Can a BIOS update still be changed, but both updates that are available so far do not include this.
Conclusion:
Finally, I can say that I have found what I was looking for. The sound is indeed a disaster, but I do not bought the device also. Similarly, I'm in the graphics memory, although I consider 64 MB for nowadays outrageous.
But for surfers and non-player I can say with a clear conscience an absolute recommendation.
Price / performance is still the hammer !!
PS: WIN7 no problem. Just needed the drivers for LAN and Wi-Fi. OS away and Win7 - CD clean - everything else was made automatically.
