Acts - to me - a little uninspiring ...

After "Money and Celebrity" was an incredibly good album, I had really looking forward to the Neuankündigung. But even after repeated listening and despite some weeks break in between the new songs can not really excite me.

Although they are still clearly The Subways of style - sometimes just get rocked snotty, then again rather baladesk. But the songs clearly lacks the big special, hooks that stick. So the album runs a little past one without great what would be remembered. Songs like "I want to dance with you," or "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" from its predecessor, the whole coming weeks ran at me straight, missing completely here. For this purpose, the texts still a piece of work somehow far incomplete; so a properly-rounded has not become the album.

But who runterschraubt his expectations and the typical Subways sound like that is perhaps nevertheless pleased that there are new songs of the band. For me, unfortunately, after the great albums before - especially the third - just mediocrity without special beads.
