I needed a sensor dimmer for 6 recessed halogen spots and have this dimmer ordered due to the low price and good reviews. A praise for the fast shipment Tuesday ordered, delivered Thursday. The dimmer came in a padded envelope. The packaging was slightly worse for wear but the goods were not damaged. With free delivery, I also expect no complex break-proof packaging. After unpacking, I noticed that the sensor plate was bent facilitated. This metal plate was not flat glued into the switch socket. and stood right and left on both sides. In the middle is a small bulge loomed: the place where the dimmer pen touches the sensor plate. The enclosed diagram are clear indications about the connection of the dimmer - so no problem here. After connecting it turned out, that did not respond the dimmer with the attached sensor plate, without the sensor plate only on your mood. I unceremoniously contacted and returned the dimmer the seller. Very fast replacement was delivered. Also in this dimmer the sensor plate is glued not clean, the upstanding edges. Can there be another series deficiency. I got the sensor plate fixed with craft terminals overnight. The next morning, this deficiency was corrected. This dimmer has to my complete satisfaction, therefore, does a strong buy recommendation.
