Newcomers can the album go quietly ewntgegen - or better yet should buy all 3 albums - Revelations is an elaborate, auisgefeilte and excellently produced album, which thrives on the genius of the individual musicians. I like this album very much - although I mainly Audioslave album nr. 1 was better.
01. Revelations: Like all Opener albums on the Audioslave, and Revelations is a Riffsong that of guitar and singing live. The song goes straight into the blood and rocking violently pure. A successful opener - previous albums although the worst compared to. Especially the chorus is impressive not 100% sure. Especially Morello delivers again great work, the solo he had fun and the riffing, I will go just that are catchy verses - and also the quiet c-part can convince me fully - because it super junction with the chorus stands out .. .but because of weaker refrains unfortunately only 4/5 stars
02. One and the Same: As a Riffsong Revelations - convince again Cornell and Morello - with a perfect combination of their skills - the bass of Tim and the solid drums ünterstützen very well. The verses make genuine pace and man goes properly with - because the rhythm comes across very well in the chorus Morello uses a cool wah-wah effect - under Cornell's great song - the solo is usual crazy and like NEN eating better than that of Revelations. Overall, an excellent song which 5 star has earned. 5/5 stars
03.Sound Of A Gun: Wow I always think to refrain ... the great quiet verse really draws me into its spell - this is where the song especially on Cornell's singing - while the instruments appear calm and supportive - the refr. rocking Morello Although vastly lot - unfortunately sings Cornell only 2 sets of which a passage is repeated 3 times ... that's a little abwechslungsarm, the solo also schrabbelt only to himself ... the C-part is only strumming .. .tja because like the refr. then dioch quite good - great song - but does not scratch rudimentary to the Audioslave Hitz. but 4/5 stars
04.Until We Fall: This song sounds somehow after I am The Highway from the first album - which is of course excellent. Above all, the verse reminds me of the song just mentioned ... Cornell is accompanied by akkoustic guitar and unfolds its great voice - in the chorus he goes right on - and also morello is used - and lets the refr. No. 1 mini solo finish with a - great, the 2nd refr. then goes into the right solo on - before the relaxed c-part begins ... which merges into the refr ... one of my favorite songs on the album ... so 5/5 stars
05.Original Fire: This song just rocks only - the drums drives nicely with his beat - Tim plays but sometimes something a bassline of horny in verse - in the Morello put to specific uses - and the bass can act great - Cornell sings catchy suspect - and the refr. seamlessly blends the verse - and the song is a from start to refr before such an increase, also the C-part fit very well and empties into a schrabbelsolo, which reminds a little laugh at - just great - another hit 5 /5 stars
06. Broken City: mmmmh ... because it is somehow .... is there always such a song with which I can start anything ... and in this case it is broken city..alles ripples casual .. to himself .and seems to me irrelevant before ... actually a solid song - but the face of the quality of this album .... well ... no matter -a solid song which unfortunately can not get more than 3/5 stars.
07.Somedays: The song rocks Weider fully los ... in verse similar to the beginning of songs beautiful rhythmic riff considered Cornell. Unfortunately, the refr almost entirely of the word somedays ... which costs here unfortunately penalized. the c-part has a beautiful reef - which leads to a great solo - which somehow always reminds me of Venice - great atmosphere - especially the great quiet 2nd c-part knocks me over again to - good song - 4/5 stars
08.Shape Of Things To Come: because it is - the hammer on the album - in the movie Miami Vice available - convinced in all areas - especially the great verses convince me fully - especially Cornell sings emotionally scary. the refr. riff rocking everything away and wakes each dead on - everything is on so high level - that this song slebst on the debut would have been a hit - great - 5/5 stars
09. Jewel Of The Summertime: the first lot to me on this song the most extraordinary and best has allerzeiten solo. The entire song is crisscrossed with effects - whether singing or guitar - everything hums rifft and rocks so so catchy - that this song immediately in memory remains. Again, everything is just right - very chill and cool track - the very funky and bluesy come off - but then again not - just great 5/5 stars
10. Wide Awake: also a very horny song - in which the refr. The best part is. the verse is based on the voltage and is unmarried facilitated the Partnership of the text as - the refr. rock the guitar enormous going on - the song fits great for guitar and man wants to sing along. well, the lyrics in the booklet are :-) Cornell can not let go here. the solo is just as powerful as the flood at issue in the song here - after that comes the refr again - but very quiet - with no distorted guitar - DAfter Insert but going again and Cornell screams until the end of the song only wide awake - simply goosebumps inspiring - an absolute hit 5/5 stars
11. Nothing Left To Say But Goodbye: Remember during the verse to dieverse other Audioslave songs - but without these heranzureichen (eg Be Yourself) the refr. Like as a little better - but also comes close to any of the other songs. a solid song - but not more ... 3/5 stars
12. Moth: Great Reef - invites to fear again .... The verse is held steady and is again designed to Cornell ... the refr. then splashes back so then .... well ... what the heck .... there are, after all, plenty of great songs available ... I hope to continue on album No. 4 and but will then hear sooooo many 5 star songs .. ..ok moth still gets 3/5 stars
