Already experienced? Yet believable?

With "Chicken Foots' second studio album by the project Sammy Hagar (vocals) was, Joe Satriani (guitar), Chad Smith (drums) and Michael Anthony (bass) continued. In the meantime, there was the first album on tour and a live recording that was pragmatically called Chickenfoot II. The second studio album now opened two about the actual music beyond questions:

1. Can the level of the debut album to be kept?
2. How great this Group really is?

First, nothing has changed at the vocal power of Sammy Hagar. If the type is now brilliant, gifted, or help here after the computer in the studio? No matter how. Hagar, the rock singer!
Joe Satriani, Chad Smith and Michael Anthony do their job professionally again - perfect. Too perfect? All make back what they can. That this is a good deal, should also be known. Total Chickenfoot III sounds already experienced a little for me at times (in the first third). The fun Attitude is true (somehow) continued, but it looks compared to the first album already as a program; yes sometimes even forced. The opener Last Temptation seems somehow pregnant with meaning as if it were stuck at a press woe. And now the review is already emotionally

"Emotional consideration"
Song 2 (Alright Alright) does so in front of him. Unfortunately inconsequential
With Title 3 (Different Devil) already follows a ballad / anthem, as should hereby be set (as a guarantee of success), an early milestone. The total routine downright cheap! That thing could also come from Brian Adams, Bon Jovi, Nickelback and all other radio rockers.
From song 4 (up next), it begins to be funny. Now is rocked snotty and dirty. Satriani is a fat riff.
No. 5 (Lighten Up) starts with NEM organ theme a la Deep Purple what follows is true craftmanship, NEN decent guitar solo (in the form and implementation of very classic) neee yet, Satriani are properly gas and sets the mood.
Title 6 (Come closer) has again a ballad with a really atmospheric start. Unfortunately, the song runs into this issue and will be predictable over time. Thus, a typical, but good commercialism Ballade
With Song 7 (Three of a half letters) follows the brand's fun the seriousness of life. Well then, it is yet. For where sun, there's shadow. Thats Life That makes Chickenfoot credible. Good musicians should also make a statement. Important number!
With No. 8 (Big Foot) back to the fun. Yeah, that's good
Title 9 (Dubai Blues) sets again after properly, relying to the The Beatles statement Cant by me love contemporary rock and with a lot of tongue in cheek.
And last song No. 10 (Something Going Wrong) is (for me) the highlight of the album. Class to match the financial statements and thus sustainable. It is again played a ballad, yeah I finds well, because this time is conjured. Southern-style starting the whole is seasoned in the sequence with classic blues rock elements; in between and finally a Joe Satriani in emotional best.

"Concluding remarks"
Professionalism and routine displaces the freshness of the debut album. Yeah, that's complain on very high level. Some listeners may even repel the genius / the perfection of the musicians. And yes, the whole thing is just as professionally produced / commercial. Only it's still great rock music in classical garb. And such can be well and happy to recommend.
Unfortunately Chickenfoot ignites III (at least for me) not as clear as the debut album, although this second studio production occurs total sustainable. Especially with the last title this sustainability is generated that I lack when I Chickenfoot. However, I can hear by Chickenfoot I without problem. Because is not skipped. The debut is altogether harmonious. The good mood is worn or not disturbing interrupted. Here the successor I am no longer consistently enthusiastic. But if, then right! Thus, the Group is still great, but still not a supergroup. And this brings rounded 4 stars.
