Fortunately, the subsequent generation battery fits ONE + (Li-Ion) with significantly smaller design and lower weight - and my equipment is ready for use again as before. Here I have already ordered the second set RBC18L15 because incl. Quick-charger is the set (70) only slightly more expensive than a single battery RB18L15 (65). So I can also charge two batteries simultaneously - or have a charger "in reserve". The new chargers can charge the way the older NiCd batteries and therefore I will break down my two old NiCd batteries once and sorting out the defective cells: Out of two (partly) used batteries, a re-usable.
Great load control is right on Li-ion battery, so it can be checked by pressing a button the state of charge (approximately). The charging time is less than 1 Hour - the more powerful battery 4,0Ah is sure to last longer the charging time. Perhaps falling in this once the price (currently just under 90), then I would also 4,0Ah still order it.
It is very welcome that a manufacturer not again offering to a newer device series new battery models, but also the new Li-Ion battery generation can be used in an older device series !!!
