Since my tablet only a micro USB 2.0 has I stood between the choice of a 100 Mbit or 1 Gbit adapter to these via an adapter / USB Hub to connect. Good thing I have resorted to this 1GBit adapter. With USB 2.0 I get to 44MB / s, which is quite good for data to be transferred to the Tablet. With a USB 3.0 connection, I had just 90MB / s.

The adapter has a ASIX AX88179 chip and Windows 8.1 recognizes him easily.
