I have seen massive bad, critical, down-making and precipitating reviews on this album: It is the worst of Dream Theater. Well, I agree, but only for the reason that with "Burning My Soul" and "Just Let Me Breathe" (sorry, Mr. Portnoy, but especially the Lyrics ... brrr) two pieces are on it, the me absolutely do not agree. "Burning My Soul" does not fit quite simply to Dream Theater and especially not to LaBries voice and "Just Let Me Breathe" can be seen in my eyes / ears already, the whole theme of the piece (the exact opposite of "Take The Time ") Remember:" Just close your mind You can find all you need with your eyes "- well, perhaps may not be just meant seriously by the good Mike, but I do not find that too funny. But now time to really strange ones - why the ballad of the album are so heavily criticized? "Hollow Years" I find even 100's runs (and it really was before days in endless loop) beautifully, as "Take Away My Pain" and "Anna Lee". "Peruvian Skies" is also a highlight, especially the increase in the liberating Petrucci solo at the end is awesome. In addition, there is the very good opener "New Millennium", the sets' nen cool groove on the day, the catchy rocker "You Not Me" (and something you had to date they have not heard!), The over all pending Instrumental "Hell's Kitchen" and the profound, magnificent longtracks "Lines In The Sand" and "Trial Of Tears". All in all a really good album, though against all other Dream Theater albums drops slightly, but in my opinion long is not as bad as most say.
