The Fellowes air purifier works the first time around look quite large.
The device consists of stable and optically well processed plastic.
Once you have removed the front bezel by pulling, you come to the two supplied filter plates. A HEPA filter and a fine carbon filter material.
These are simply placed / pressed in the adapted housing, installing the front bezel, finished.
However, here arises a minor complaint.
As the filters do not support, it can happen that the thin carbon cloth filter tilts forward before the panel sets back onto the case. If one does not respect it, the intake air flows past the filter through the open side slots on the unit. Thus came into existence no filtering the air. Here plastic clips or Velcro remedy would have done.
The operation is very easy.
On / off switch, a plus and a minus button.
If you switch the device on immediately done the switching on of the automatic mode. This measures the air and consequently adjusts the fan. This can also switch to the Plus / Minus keys manually if you so desire.
The display of the screen is clear and very understandable.
Links a color display for air quality, from green to orange to red. Right to display the filter. Also green to red to see when this has to be changed.

Clean superficially the device is quite simple. A control unit, 2 filter, a fan and a housing. Since I can not judge how far the sensors for air quality of their design and quality, I let the times before the outside. Left a fan would remain with filters.

Now, after three-day test run, I can say clearly, the Fellowes air purifier does its job tremendously well!
I am even really surprised. Since I am a smoker, I could well see the device detects very well when the air in the room is poor. Usually after one minute after I lit a cigarette, the automatic fan turns up and the display confirms my worse air. Amazingly, the filter is also as quickly getting the air clean. Although still a small odor remains, but which disappeared after a short time as well, so the air is very quickly noticeable pleasant.
I can also imagine that the air purifier for allergy sufferers a blessing is.
The noise was still very positive to mention. Rarely has so quietly turns a fan. The thing you can hear is actually only wind noise, but no engine! Also the power consumption is very low!
Conclusion:
Right high prices, but in my opinion a great device.
Four stars! One star deduction for the poor retention of the filter, which would not be at such a price and the rather high and, unfortunately, permanent price level of the filter.
