The appointed stand came on time and well packaged with me. I use it mainly for (test) shooting Therefore, the vibration damping of the stand against the impact of SLR mirror for me is not an issue. However, objectively it must be said that this tripod looks quite delicate and carried out the settings relatively rough. This means that the locking screws are tightened firmly enough indeed, but when tightening the desired setting is often not achieved sufficiently precise and more tests are necessary. The stand still fulfills its purpose for me, especially since I anvisiere mainly static subjects (macro, nature, architecture) and I'm rarely pressed for time. When erected, the lens is like a goat. It is also, in spite of the rel. large (long) pack size, light enough to be carried in the included carrying bag. Because a tripod is only useful if you're in a while if necessary.
Whether the cheap-looking plastic and aluminum parts "Made in China" are sufficiently durable, the future will show. But at this low price, no miracles are indeed expected.
Professional and Commercial photographers will choose safely in a different category (from 300).
I forgive this tripod due to the low price nearly 4 stars.
Updated on 04.17.2014: As described in my review, I use the tripod for photos with mirrorless system cameras in the Micro Four Thirds format (Lumix G). Inquiries about Amazon Answers whether the tripod for video and DSLR cameras -. The possibly heavier and perhaps have other tripod socket - is suitable can and I will, therefore, not be answered.
