Jay-Z has increased after the terrible Kingdom Come. American Gangster is a concept album of the same name movie starring Denzel Washington. Jay-Z had the audience to conjure up the task of an atmosphere like in the Mafia scene of the 70s into the eardrum. In part, he managed that too, unfortunately, on the album but too many average tracks. My favorite tracks are: "Roc Boys", "Say Hello" and "Ignorant Shit" feat. Beanie Sigel, who are all very good. The worst tracks "Hello Brooklyn 2.0." feat. Lil 'Wayne and "I Know" feat. Pharrell. Guests on the album are Nas, Beanie Sigel, Lil 'Wayne and Pharrell. At the controls were Just Blaze, Diddy, DJ Toomp, Jermaine Dupri and No ID. Of these were just me Just Blaze and DJ Toomp convince. I can only think of all rappers appelieren not to work with producers like Pharrell together. The Trash to their beats rather verhöckern to abgetackelte singer like Britney Spears and Madonna ... It should be working much more with real hip hop producers such as DJ Premier, Hi-Tek, Dr. Dre, Just Blaze, Pete Rock and Kanye West! I admit American Gangster 3.5 / 5 points so an acceptable album.
