* It remembers where you stopped playing and starts again (Sony and Panasonic are not reliable here, Including the fabled DMP BDT 500).
* Really good streaming (almost to load) and automatically in 24p (60Hz only Sony and Panasonic requires manually setting it each time on 2012 models and gone on in 2013 and later models)
* No forced signup to download apps (Sony and Panasonic)
* No forced advertising (Panasonic Viera)
* Picture is great (just shy of the DMP BDT 500 Whose pixels seem a bit smoother, you see even less of the screen door effect: Keep in mind I'm looking at a 5 meter diagonal projection, on a smaller image you won ' t notice the difference)
* 3D is perfect.
Do not plan on using the analog audio out for hifi though. It's more than good enough for Surround Cinema Sound But The optical output into your receiver will almost be better Certainly for stereo / music.
DVD scaling is only adequate. Sony does a bit better job here with the BDP4100 for instance with Both Internal and with Allowing you to use on external scaler (output at native DVD). Panasonic lets you tweak the picture enough to be able to get something a bit better but it's a pain in the neck to TWEA for each DVD.
The Samsung BD-F7500 is the best bluray player / video streaming device on the market today anywhere in the world (well, at Oppo 103EU at 849 is probably a bit better but it's 7 times more expensive).
