I enjoyed reading this book both moving, often funny and very modern. This is the journey of integrating a family from another Mediterranean shore. Parents certainly remain attached to their culture "that a man does not cry" said the father, "no one can start afresh by the Arabs who invented it yet" often tell the mother. The three children are already offset them, they fit in their own way and meet the joys and difficulties as those of their age.
