After much hesitation, I have yet to play me now overcome Fable - and did not regret it. Fable is one of the few role-playing games, which go beyond the traditional development of the hero in terms of strength, dexterity, etc., and in many ways provides countless opportunities amusing to distribute his time in the game and customize the protagonist. The playing namely from childhood until he's an old old man at the end of the game. Along the way, we must tattoo him, comb, etc., directing him to the good or evil path, and everything with him, which is part of life so to do - Playful great implemented and credible. This sentiment supports the colorful cartoon graphics - indeed is a matter of taste, but I find them very successful because it defies every even as modern technology trend and the comparison with hyper-realistic representations. There are also excellent speakers and a great soundtrack, which never seems inappropriate. Adventurers and mystery fans will also get their money: There are many chests and caves distributed throughout the world, some of which is only achieved but solving puzzles and challenges therein are then sometimes very valuable content. The entry is very easy because you have to start all the important things gets explained in a detailed tutorial and is not later released into the world alone. The combat system bein halted sword and boxing match, ranged by bow and crossbow, and a magic system, with a few spells which go beyond the standard fare, such as time and stop with the swordplay combined tricks. I think the fights very dynamic and often sluggish.
Unfortunately Fable does not open, coherent and above all great world. It is smaller than in other RPGs such as "Gothic" or "The Elder Scrolls" and consists of nothing but small snippets between which must be continuously recharged when moving, to find yourself often in a "tube", ie it is largely to the routing bound and may at times not 3 meters run into the bushes. Besides falling through the Geschnipsel world pieces and hakelige overview map orientation difficult, the menu / inventory has also so its flaws and could be simpler, it has everything from quests over inventory to add Load / Save at a glance. One advantage of this is that players can enjoy even with less powerful computers, the game experience.
The plot goes like many RPGs do not have good versus evil and hero against monsters out, but is told beautifully and is from the beginning a clear and comprehensible.
If in Fable the world not so small and divided, and the inventory / menu system better, there would be 5 star. Nevertheless dances Fable by many new ideas out of line and should therefore - especially as it is now to have an affordable price - a staple in every RPG collection.
