We ordered a replacement for an original pipe cut to a family member while in parallel we ordered adaptable to replace the pipe also cut our vacuum cleaner This hose is slightly longer than the original (1.80m against 1.70m for one sold with the vacuum cleaner) but more importantly it has the advantage (compared to adaptable) to have a very slight shoulder on each end to allow a better seal at the butt and the adapter tip to the location of the bag. Our flexible pipe generates heavy losses while the latter not. So we will have to cobble together a sealing O-Ring on our flexible pipe that is not necessary on this original pipe It is about 2x more expensive than a flexible but it is still to advise people who are not DIY or who can not provide easily and cheaply in O-Ring.
