Calibration with the Spyder4Pro is similar to the Spyder2Express. There is also the ambient light measurement during Kalibierung and then permanently. Depending while time interval (Never, 1, 5, 10, 30, 60 minutes) will be adjusted to the ambient light, the Kalibierung. For this purpose the Spyder4Pro the PC remains connected and is placed under the Monitor. A blue LED (you can change the set by default annoying blinking permanently in lights only during measurement of the ambient light) indicates that the ambient light is measured and calibration is adjusted. Really I'm not yet convinced (desk lamp -> ambient light means lamp -> weak again -> medium) that changes the display brightness and color adjustment. Whether 40 EUR worth more against the Spyder4Express, remains to be seen. I can make a renewal calibration in 2.5 minutes instead of Neukalibibrierung in 5 minutes only worthwhile if one week renewed calibration. I've had enough a monthly renewal, then I can spend 5 minutes.
Installation is a bit annoying: I choose a language German made, although the languages are a Chinese simple and traditional, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Russian in addition installed - each 71 files in four folders per language in slow motion are extracted from the DVD. I have found no way to change the interface language. So what should the botch? There is one star less.
