The clock has with its 31 cm diameter a nice size and the "kitchen" theme fits visually and color super in the kitchen of our parents. The curved glass cover looks chic and can be (as glass) super clean.
As you turn the clock there was a little sobering. The movement is reminiscent of a small, inexpensive radios. But it done correctly and above all very quiet his service. The battery is now in our (identical) model for three months in operation. In our previous clock she held actually only 1-2 months (after the period seemed to me very briefly, I had the battery with a pen marks). The very quality impression the front so gets a little damper, but the function is not impaired.
Another small gripe is the device for suspending the clock. This is attached in the form of an eyelet directly to the movement. Since the frame but this movement is described as fairly thick and rather narrow, one would have to use a nail or a screw, looking at least 3 cm from the wall. And then the hanging would still be quite a fumbling. The frame is very stable and slightly crimped and so we have the clock hung directly to the frame. Keeps great and therefore also to get over this point for me.
The clock is a total super nice and very stable. The two small criticisms do not lead me to award the maximum "Star Number". We and now our parents are enthusiastic and we can make a full purchase recommendation.
