The albums by Ani Difranco have it so on that you can not listen once in a while and judge. In many of her songs have to listen to and what it produces, just is not main-stream - and probably why sometimes so special. But as a great fan of Ani I have now - after I already have a few months the album and have consulted it every now and then - say, in this album, I find no entry. Some is too close to the kitsch (very Ani-atypical, I think), some songs are simply meaningless (eg Good Luck, All this), other sound somehow forced (eg Emazipated Minor). While I could recommend many other albums of the musician uneingeschänkt, I would advise against this. Nice to hear are Landing Gear and Star Matter - but Anis Highlights include the two songs not sure.
