The are 3 stars. But I would not buy the device again. That is why 3 stars ("not bad") too much. Two and a half stars I can not forgive. So only two.
In Smart TV mode, the machine froze. A firmware update, which was not the TV from available, but had to be applied via a Web download and USB flash drive recording, corrected the problem after all.
So now I have a red-hot system.
For negatives:
- The switching times from one channel to the next are really annoying long. Worse: Again and again, the device swallowed me, as would clamp the key. Then simply switched from channel to channel with no fault of their own.
- Bottom right is in TV channels an indication that one "red" may display any menu by pressing the button. The display usually disappears after a few seconds. Unless the display refers to RTL II. Then, maintaining, and even then, when you see a very different television stations. This is an annoying bug. In contrast, only off and on will help. This takes.
- If no TV channels (satellite) are installed, I have every time the LAN / WLAN setting the TV to call before I me, so can use the Internet TV Smart TV. If I do not make the detour, I land in Smart TV still in demo mode.
- Since I have again saved the TV channels (satellite), it is sufficient, two or three times to call the Smart TV until it detects that it has a connection to the Internet. We're talking about a trouble-free 5 GHz WLAN connection with an exclusive and excellent transmission performance. When the TV has the connection is activated, there are no further problems. But it is each time the device is the same anger until it can finally take advantage of the Internet connection.
Positives:
- Telephone support was easily accessible.
- The unit mach outside a high impression.
- The picture I like. The sound also.
- Per DLNA was recognized my NAS well. Most movies can play, so the TV knows more than many other codecs. This is a big plus point, when compared to other TVs / DVD Plavern that I know.
Addendum 2015-05-17:
====================
Recording to USB memory stick does not work for me:
1) Kingston DataTraveler 16GB USB 2.0. The television complained that the write speed is too low. OK, the drive is really slow.
2) Verbatim Store n Go 8GB. Again, criticized the TV to the slow writing speed. For comparison: At TechniSat Telestar S2 it is fast enough for HD recording.
3) SanDisk Extreme 32 GB USB 3.0. The TV formats and tests the write speed. The test is passed. Subsequently, however, claimed the television, there is not enough space on the stick and it is connected to be a USB device. This is poor.
