Robert of proper names and Antéchrista had disappointed me, not doing again that addressing the themes without recurent aporter originality. We expected more for the Nothomb this year, and it is clear that "Biography of Hunger" is far from up to scratch. "Bigger" than his previous, the book begins by boring geographical considerations from the first page, before the link is made (fetched) with his own life. The following is an unpacking of autobiographical anecdotes, most of which was already known and in which Amélie loses its Ariane wire to fall into the soporific narration, punctuated by some almost unknown words she has the secret but are well cultivated . The rest has come to have fun and rehashing the same self-deprecating author's fantasies (I was a tube, I was potomane, I was a genius, I was god, I was suicidal to 3 years, alcoholic at age 6, and 12 anorexic blah). The end is sloppy, as is usually maintaining and closes the book ... staying hungry. The celebrity should it allow ease? To avoid!
