After the hit albums "Chances" and "Little Things" it Wurd initially not located a little quieter around the Belgian Dance Duo, but that Wout and Sylvie on lazy they show with their third album "Nighttime Calls". Already the first single "Love is an angel" struck in the German charts like a bomb and is the style of the new album before. Sylver create with "Nighttime Calls" something unusual: They remain their previous success Bring ends stiltreu and yet show a significant development and introduce new (thoroughly successful) sound changes. Quenched the previous Sylver fan should not be yet, because there are "typical" Sylver songs on this CD, as the Dance Hammer "Take me back" (highly recommended) or the Sylver Typical "Sympathy" which stylistically to the old Sylver Hit "Forgiven" oriented. But particularly herausstechend particularly the experimental songs such as "Who am I", which zunäachst to Madonna's "Tell Me" errinert, but a rich Breakbeat aufweisst and is headed by Sylvie's charismatic voice. Wonderful is also the pop ballad "Changed", which starts with a gentle piano intro and certainly opportunities has to be published as another single. Surprisingly aggressive sounds the bassline of "Fallin 'but harmonisisert perfectly with Sylvie's vocals. Also surprising is "Do not call me" what not errinert its high aggressiveness and the first missing melody Sylver. Rounding out the album with the Sylver-typical, yet beautiful ballad "Sometimes" which with its Streicherbegeleitung to mourn and chill inviting you. All in all, put Sylver with "Nighttime Calls" the best album of their career to date and show that dance music is not always the same and cheap must sound, but as a well-built faceted Dance / Trance may be album. Wout and Sylvie thus show that they belong despite their one-year break to the European Dance Elite and certainly for NEN good moment ...
