I remember, in the year of our Lord 1986, when I discovered the virus Meadow record in business. The music was the Wave-Independent-trend of the times: underground outsider Depri, serious and sad. AATT have the little added: Something poetic ivory tower-explanatory, English country houses, ships, Shakespeare. Raw and refined at the same time. On one hand, high culture, but without the bourgeois Geschnösel. On the other hand desolate ground, it does not pollute and stink. Short - it had happened to me, and that it is actually today, even though I am in the meantime mutates into a stuffy Familienpapi. The Trees are the only thing I still hear from time. Finally, there is now much more and at least as inspiring music for this approximate flavor location. Nevertheless, the Trees and the 'Hunter ..' album did not fit into the present day. The presentation of the Trees is still seriously and fervently, in the positive sense. Today, all bands have a slightly ironic attitude, even the most melancholy among them. By this I want to express my regret that probably do not have too many new, young fans to - which I think is a shame because 'Hunter ..', as all are AATT albums, fairytale treasure boxes. Another obstacle is that the sound of the trees is not complacent. SH Jones' voice is monotonous and difficult. Hardly anyone is lured them conversationally. You have to dedicate the songs explicitly if you want to connect with the content of the treasure chest. But if it is then open, then you will find in it everything that an art can ever give. In 'Hunter ..' not less than the past albums.
