Epiphanes !!! Even this name suggests a far fetched story but exciting at once.
One who defines himself as a symbol of ugliness and falls in love with a sublime.
It is questioned and we wonder if we would have fallen in love with a being repulsive. Friend, friend, that's entirely possible to ignore the physical but to see only the beauty of the heart is something else !!
Writing Amélie Nothomb is always a pure delight, fluid and simple, fast and efficient.
She plants a decoration with no real history, as she always tells a moment of life, all in a short page.
We smile, we are astonished and the end is a small bomb.
In short, I recommend this book without problems.
